(Phnom Penh): Vietnamese Prime Minister Le Minh Hung led a high-level delegation to pay a courtesy call on Cambodian National Assembly President Khuon Sudary at the National Assembly in Phnom Penh on Friday afternoon (Oct. 9).

The meeting was part of his two-day official visit to Cambodia and focused on strengthening traditional friendship, good-neighbourly relations, and the strategic partnership, with particular emphasis on closer cooperation between the two legislatures.

Both parties were expected to discuss parliamentary delegation exchanges, legislative experience, law implementation, and mutual support at regional and international parliamentary forums.

Le Minh Hung arrived in Cambodia on Friday for his official visit from 9 to 10 October, at the invitation of Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet.
