(Phnom Penh): Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet and Vietnamese Prime Minister Le Minh Hung on Friday afternoon (Oct. 9) jointly witnessed the signing of six key documents and Memorandum of Understanding (MoUs) between the governments of Cambodia and Viet Nam at the Peace Palace in Phnom Penh.
The signing ceremony followed a fruitful bilateral meeting between the two prime ministers, with the six documents covering key areas of cooperation:
1. MoU between the National Authority for Combating Drugs of Cambodia and the Ministry of Public Security of Viet Nam for Cooperation on the Construction of the National Center for Drug Treatment and Rehabilitation in Svay Rieng.
2. Agreement on Education Cooperation for 2026-2030.
3. MoU on the Preservation and Promotion of the Cambodia-Viet Nam Friendship Monument in Cambodia.
4. MoU on Security Cooperation between the National Information Technology Center of Cambodia and the Ministry of Public Security of Viet Nam.
5. MoU on the Establishment of the Joint Trade Committee.
6. Arrangement on Bilateral Trade Enhancement.
