Heng Ratana presented the ASEAN observers and foreign military attachés about Thailand’s remnants of war on Cambodia's territorial integrity after 2025 conflicts, held at the CMAC Headquarters in Phnom Penh on Monday (Aug. 31).

The director general said CMAC had found MK-series bombs, cluster munitions and drone-dropped ordnance in civilian areas, including homes, rice fields and farms.

“They were surprised, not expecting that a border war would involve such a level of weaponry,” he said.

Heng Ratana said CMAC is accelerating clearance operations to allow displaced residents to return home safely and support recovery efforts.
