(Phnom Penh): Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet underscored that moral and ethical education is essential to fostering responsibility, integrity, and trust across society.
Speaking at the 11th nationwide gathering of achar and acharini on Wednesday (Aug. 19), the premier said these values are vital in business, government, politics, and social affairs.
“Morality and ethics foster responsibility and integrity,” Samdech Thipadei said, emphasizing that success should not be measured solely by financial or professional achievements.
He added that in business, people should not be judged solely by their ability to make money or outperform competitors. Integrity and ethical business practices are equally important because they build trust and sustain long-term relationships.
On the occasion, Samdech Thipadei urged people in all professions to pursue their goals with integrity, dignity, and ethical conduct, noting that these values build lasting trust and respect.
