(Phnom Penh): The Ministry of Land Management, Urban Planning and Construction (MLMUPC), in collaboration with the United Nations Human Settlements Programme (UN-Habitat), is organizing an Urban Research Report Competition on “Resilience and Livable Environments.”
This competition aims to contribute to shaping cities for a sustainable future in Cambodia through research-based evidence to support more effective urban development and planning. The competition is open to individuals or legal entities/teams, both Cambodian and foreign nationals.
The four research topics are as follows:
1- Spatial expansion patterns.
2- Impacts of climate change on cities and solutions.
3- Increasing urban heat.
4- Inclusive green surface and public spaces.
Details regarding eligibility conditions, research deliverables, competition timelines, and awards for winners are outlined in the attachment to this announcement.
