(Phnom Penh): Cambodian Senate President Hun Sen extended his warmest congratulations to Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah of Brunei Darussalam on the occasion of his 80th birthday, according to a letter seen by Fresh News on Wednesday (Jul. 15).

In the lettter, Samdech Techo stated, “I would like to extend my warmest congratulations and heartfelt wishes to Your Majesty on the auspicious occasion of your 80th birthday.”

“I highly commend and deeply value Your Majesty’s wise leadership and lifelong dedication to the well-being, prosperity and harmony of Brunei Darussalam and its people. Your contributions have significantly elevated Brunei Darussalam’s standing on the international stage and your efforts have been instrumental in strengthening the close friendship and cooperation between our two countries and peoples,” Samdech Techo added.

Samdech Techo Hun Sen emphasised, “Cambodia deeply values its bonds of longstanding friendship and close bilateral relations with Brunei, which have been growing ever stronger through fruitful cooperation. I look forward to working closely with Your Majesty to further deepen our friendship and relations for the mutual benefit of our peoples.”

“It is my fervent hope that this very special day will bring Your Majesty good health, happiness, longevity, and sustained success in all your noble endeavors as well as the people of Brunei Darussalam greater well-being and prosperity,” the letter concluded.
