(Phnom Penh): General Tan Sri Dato’ Seri Haji Malek Razak Bin Sulaiman, Chief of Defence Forces of the Malaysian Armed Forces, will lead a high-level Malaysian military delegation on an official visit to Cambodia from 8 to 11 July 2026, at the invitation of General Vong Pisen, Commander-in-Chief of the Royal Cambodian Armed Forces (RCAF), according to a press release seen by Fresh News on Tuesday (Jul. 7).
During his stay, General Malek Razak will pay courtesy calls on senior leaders of the Royal Government and General Tea Seiha, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Defence, an Samdech Techo Hun Sen, Senate President.
General Vong Pisen and General Malek Razak will also hold bilateral talks to advance and expand existing military cooperation between the armed forces of Cambodia and Malaysia.
According to the press release, the visit marks another important step in reaffirming the commitment of the two countries' military leadership to further strengthening friendship and defence cooperation between Cambodia and Malaysia.
