(Phnom Penh): Today, Cambodia is becoming cleaner, greener, and more beautiful not because of one person, one institution, or one campaign alone. It is becoming cleaner because millions of Cambodians have chosen to care.

To the school children across our nation, thank you.

Thank you for leading by example.

Thank you for carrying reusable bags, refusing unnecessary plastic bags, picking up litter, planting trees, and reminding your families to care for the environment.

You have shown that age is not a barrier to leadership. Through your actions, you have taught adults that protecting the environment begins with simple daily choices.

You are not only the future of Cambodia; you are helping shape Cambodia today.

To teachers, parents, monks, civil servants, workers, farmers, fishers, business owners, factory workers, students, youth volunteers, development partners, and all Cambodian citizens from every walk of life, thank you for joining this collective effort.

Thank you for embracing the spirit of “Today I Do Not Use Plastic Bag.” Thank you for participating in “Clean Cambodia, Khmer Can Do.”

Thank you for cleaning your homes, schools, villages, streets, markets, riversides, parks, and public spaces. Thank you for proving that when Cambodians unite around a common purpose, remarkable things can happen.

Together, more than 14 million people have joined the movement to reduce plastic waste. Together, more than 7 million people have participated in cleaning public areas throughout the Kingdom.

Together, you have helped reduce plastic bag imports and production by 84 percent within a year.

These achievements belong to the people of Cambodia.

Every piece of litter picked up, every plastic bag refused, every clean street, every clean school, every clean village, and every clean city is a reflection of the love that Cambodians have for their country.

Because of your participation, Cambodia is becoming a cleaner home for our families. It is becoming a more welcoming destination for visitors from around the world.

It is becoming a more attractive place for investment, business, and sustainable development.

A clean country improves public health. A clean country strengthens national pride.

A clean country attracts tourists and investors. A clean country creates opportunities for future generations.

Most importantly, a clean country reflects the values of its people.

Let us continue this journey together. Let us transform commitment into action, action into movement, and movement into habit.

Let us ensure that cleanliness becomes part of our culture and part of our national identity.

To every Cambodian who has contributed, whether through a small act or a large one, please accept our deepest gratitude.

Cambodia is cleaner today because of you.

Cambodia is greener today because of you.

Cambodia is stronger today because of you.

Thank you for helping make Cambodia a clean, beautiful, and sustainable home to live in, a welcoming place to visit, and a trusted destination to invest in.

Together, we are building the Cambodia that future generations deserve.
