(Phnom Penh): The Ministry of Public Works and Transport (MPWT), with support from the Japan International Cooperation Agency Announcement of 2nd Public Consultation (Stakeholder Meeting) for Preparatory Survey for National Road No.1 and Mekong River Bridge Development Project.

The Ministry of Public Works and Transport (MPWT), with support from the Japan International Cooperation Agency has been conducting a series of stakeholder engagement activities to disclose project-related information and gather feedback from key stakeholders, including private-sector representatives, local authorities, nearby districts, and affected communities.

The first round of stakeholder meetings was successfully conducted at four locations in October 2025.

Following these consultations, data collection and field surveys have been completed.

Accordingly, the second stakeholder meeting will be held to present key findings of the Initial Environmental Impact Assessment (IEIA) and the Resettlement Action Plan (RAP) for the Preparatory Survey of the National Road No. 1 and Mekong River Bridge Development Project (JICA Project), as follows.
