(New York): Cambodian Foreign Minister Prak Sokhonn held a productive bilateral meeting with Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi on Wednesday (May 27).

During the discussion, Minister Prak Sokhonn expressed his sincere appreciation to China in its capacity as the Rotating President of the United Nations Security Council for the month of May, particularly for its invitation to Cambodia to participate in the High‑Level Open Debate presided over by Minister Wang Yi.

Both foreign ministers reaffirmed their commitment to deepening the Cambodia–China Comprehensive Strategic Partnership of Cooperation and to working closely together across multilateral platforms to promote regional stability.

Both sides also exchanged views on regional and international issues, particularly the latest developments concerning the Cambodia–Thailand border issues.
