(Beijing): Cambodian King Norodom Sihamoni extended warm congratulations to Russian President Vladimir Putin and the people of Russia on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the Kingdom of Cambodia and the Russian Federation, according to the letter seen by Fresh News on Monday (May 11).
In a royal message from Beijing, Cambodian King Norodom Sihamoni said, “On the momentous occasion of the 70th Anniversary of the Establishment of Diplomatic Relations between the Kingdom of Cambodia and the Russian Federation, I have the great pleasure to extend to Your Excellency, and to the friendly people of Russia, my warmest congratulations and best wishes for happiness and prosperity.”
He emphasised, “The relationship between the Kingdom of Cambodia and the Russian Federation has endured for seven decades, during which Cambodia has remained grateful for the extensive support and assistance extended by Russia. Through the years, our bilateral cooperation has continued to expand steadily across a wide range of fields for mutual benefit. This remarkable progress is underpinned by the enduring political trust and mutual support, and shared understanding between our two countries.”
“I am confident that the friendship and cooperation so happily existing between our two countries will continue to deepen and strengthen, bringing further mutual benefit to our two peoples in the coming years,” said King Sihamoni.
