(Cebu): On 7 May 2026, Cambodian Foreign Minister Prak Sokhonn engaged in the ASEAN Joint Foreign and Economic Ministers’ Meeting on Cebu Island, the Philippines.

According to the Foreign Ministry, the meeting deliberated on strategies to navigate an increasingly fragmented global landscape marked by persistent geopolitical shifts and economic headwinds.

These discussions also focused on bolstering regional architecture with a view to ensuring that the region remains a primary engine of global prosperity and a stable pillar of economic integration.
