(Cebu): On 7 May 2026, Cambodian Foreign Minister Prak Sokhonn participated in the 38th ASEAN Coordinating Council (ACC) Meeting on Cebu Island, the Philippines.

According to the Foreign Ministry, Minister Prak Sokhonn highlighted that addressing today’s complex and multifaceted challenges requires a proactive, coordinated, and timely response. In this regard, ASEAN has demonstrated its capacity to adapt and emerge more resilient, learning from past crises to further refine our cooperation.

On ASEAN Community building, the meeting underscored that deeper integration requires stronger cross-sectoral coordination. By bolstering coherence among sectoral bodies, ASEAN can accelerate progress toward a more people-centred Community.
