(Phnom Penh): On the afternoon of 3 May 2026, a contingent of 120 personnel from the Indian Army arrived in the Kingdom of Cambodia to participate in the bilateral exercise “CINBAX-II” with the Royal Cambodian Army, aimed at enhancing military relations and strengthening the partnership between the two countries.
The exercise will be conducted over a period of 15 days, from 3 to 18 May 2026, at the Techo Sen Phnom Thom Mreas Prov RCAF Training Center, located in Samraong Tong District, Kampong Speu Province. Held under the theme “Joint Counter-Terrorism and Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Relief Operations,” the exercise will include both Command Post Exercises (CPX) and Field Training Exercises (FTX), with the objective of enhancing joint operational capabilities.
It is noteworthy that this marks the second edition of the exercise between the two armies, following the successful conduct of the first edition in the Republic of India in 2024.
