(Phnom Penh): The Ministry of Tourism of Cambodia announced that, within the framework of implementing the "Cambodia-China Tourism Year" campaign for 2026, the Ministry of Tourism, in collaboration with the Embassy of the People's Republic of China in Cambodia, will organise the "Cambodia-China Mixed Martial Arts Performance" on 30 April 2026, according to the announcement seen by Fresh News on Wednesday (Apr. 29).
The event will begin at 7:00 a.m. at the North of Bayon Temple in Siem Reap province. It will also feature Cambodian Kun Lbokator martial arts, Yuth Kun Khorm, and Kun Khmer, alongside the legendary Shaolin Kung Fu and Tai Chi from China.
This event aims to continue implementing the "Cambodia-China Tourism Year" campaign and widely promote Cambodia-China cultural tourism, as well as the promotion of Cambodia Visa exemption scheme for Chinese nationals holding passports of the People's Republic of China (PRC), effective from 15 June to 15 October 2026.
In this connection, the Ministry of Tourism cordially invites the tourism associations, tour operators, private sectors, relevant institutions, national and international media, content creators, and the general public to freely participate and widely promote the aforementioned event.
