(Phnom Penh): Amid shifting consumer sentiment and growing calls to reduce reliance on imports from neighboring Thailand, Neak Oknha Nito Hour Lim, President of Kirisan Group, has taken a decisive step to strengthen Cambodia’s healthcare landscape through a new international partnership.
On 28 April 2026, Kirisan Group officially signed an exclusive agreement with Mankind Pharma — one of India’s leading pharmaceutical companies — to introduce its full range OTC (over-the-counter) portfolio into Cambodia.
This milestone positions Cambodia as the first country in Southeast Asia to launch Mankind Pharma’s complete OTC offering.
With approximately USD 1.2 billion in annual revenue and operations spanning over 40 countries, Mankind Pharma is globally recognized for delivering affordable, high-quality healthcare products at scale.
The signing ceremony was attended by Sanjay Mishra, representing Mankind Pharma, while special acknowledgment was given to Balwinder Singh Sethi, whose leadership played a key role in bringing the partnership together.
Speaking at the event, Neak Oknha Nito Hour Lim emphasized the importance of diversification in Cambodia’s supply chain: “For many years, a large portion of healthcare and wellness products in Cambodia has depended on imports from neighboring countries, particularly Thailand. With the current situation, we see a clear need to diversify and strengthen our supply with trusted global partners.”
He added: “Our partnership with Mankind Pharma allows us to bring in international-quality, reliable alternatives that ensure Cambodian consumers continue to have access to safe, affordable, and high-standard healthcare products.”
Under this agreement, Kirisan Group will roll out a comprehensive OTC portfolio focusing on:
- Sexual Health – including Manforce, premium condoms, and lubricants
- Women’s Wellness – led by Prega News pregnancy testing solutions
- Digestive Health – featuring Gas-O-Fast, a fast-acting herbal antacid
In addition to these key categories, the portfolio includes a wider range of everyday health and wellness products designed to meet the evolving needs of Cambodian consumers.
This move reflects Kirisan Group’s broader strategy to reduce market dependency on a single source, while elevating product standards and expanding consumer choice.
The partnership also builds on recent momentum by Kirisan Group, following the successful launch of its Jomney pet food brand and its distribution partnership with Anchor oral care products, further strengthening its position in Cambodia’s FMCG and healthcare sectors.
Neak Oknha Nito Hour Lim concluded: “We are proud to partner with a global leader like Mankind Pharma. This is not just about business — it is about ensuring stability, trust, and better options for Cambodian consumers during a time of change.”
The collaboration is expected to play a key role in enhancing Cambodia’s healthcare ecosystem by delivering consistent supply, international standards, and greater consumer confidence.
