(Tboung Khmum): Samdech Techo Hun Sen, Acting Head of State and Chairman of the Supreme Privy Council to the King, praised the Royal Government of Cambodia for its prompt and responsible handling of refugee issues and fuel supply stability.
Speaking during a meeting with nearly 900 officials in Tboung Khmum Province on Sunday (Apr. 26), he highlighted the government’s effective response to recent challenges, particularly following border tensions. He noted that authorities, led by Prime Minister Hun Manet, had ensured strong coordination in managing refugee concerns, including the rapid construction of temporary shelters, provision of essential supplies, and continued access to education for displaced children.

During the gathering, Samdech Techo praised civil servants for maintaining security, public order, and social stability, while urging local authorities to improve public service delivery and respond efficiently to citizens’ needs. He underscored the importance of enforcing the “Safe Village-Commune” policy, particularly in combating crimes such as theft, drug trafficking, and online scams.
