(Beijing): Samdech Techo Hun Sen, Cambodian Acting Head of State, said he met with King Norodom Sihamoni on Tuesday morning (Apr. 21), reporting that the king’s health has significantly improved following prostate surgery.

The brief visit, lasting about eight minutes, took place at 9:30 a.m. (Beijing time).

In a message posted on his social media, Samdech Techo noted that the king was able to communicate normally, despite still receiving intravenous fluids as part of routine post-surgical care.

He added that, through him, King Sihamoni extended his greetings and well-wishes to monks and citizens across Cambodia, expressing his continued care and concern for their well-being.
