(Phnom Penh): Greenlyzer, a Singapore-headquartered deep tech company, and Royal Group, one of Cambodia’s largest and most diversified business conglomerates, have today announced the signing of a landmark Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) to accelerate the deployment of green hydrogen energy solutions in Cambodia and across ASEAN.

The agreement was signed at a ceremony in Singapore, with attendees including Bo Bai, Group Executive Chairman & Co-Founder, Alpha Ladder Group; Tin Pei Ling, Co-President, Alpha Ladder Group; Huang Kuan, Chief Executive Officer of Greenlyzer and Head of Digital Green Group; and Kith Meng, Chairman & CEO of The Royal Group.

Greenlyzer is a subsidiary of Alpha Ladder Group ("Alpha Ladder"). Greenlyzer is a dynamic new global company developing a next-generation energy system at the intersection of AI and energy. With a growing need for sustainable energy to power advanced AI and growing digital economies, and traditional grids facing strain, Greenlyzer’s Green Moving Grid (GMG) converts hydrogen into reliable, secure, and configurable energy to deliver power to mission-critical locations and applications, from data centres and industrial facilities to remote and disaster-prone locations. Its proprietary technology, the Alpha Energy System, sits at its heart, and AI helps to optimise operations in real time.

The partnership will explore pilot deployment opportunities for the GMG, as well as other green hydrogen-based innovations to demonstrate real-world pathways for scalable, locally-produced
green hydrogen.

The partnership directly reinforces Singapore’s position as a green innovation hub for Southeast Asia, which is timely as Singapore prepares to chair ASEAN in 2027. It further highlights Cambodia’s intentions as a growing node in ASEAN's green and digital economy.

Tin Pei Ling, Group Co-President of Alpha Ladder, said: “The recent energy shock from the Iran conflict underscores energy’s strategic and existential importance. The ASEAN Power Grid is now more pertinent than ever as it will strengthen regional energy security and diversify supply. Hence, we are very pleased to partner with the Royal Group at this pivotal moment. By harnessing Cambodia’s sustainable energy and delivering it to where it is needed via the Green Moving Grid, we can help address physical infrastructure gaps and bring power to underserved areas. We see this as a strong alignment with ASEAN’s long-term vision of an interconnected APG.”

Huang Kuan, Chief Executive Officer of Greenlyzer, said: “Southeast Asia stands at a pivotal moment in its energy transition. The region’s rapid industrialisation and expanding digital economy is widening the gap between clean energy availability and demand at a rapid pace.

Our Green Moving Grid offers a next-generation, augmentative layer to the conventional grid anchored in green hydrogen that faster and more flexible to develop and deploy.”

Kith Meng, Chairman & CEO of The Royal Group, said: “This partnership underscores our commitment to advancing clean energy innovation. As Cambodia's most diversified business conglomerate, we bring the breadth of our network and operational reach alongside Greenlyzer's cutting-edge technology to accelerate the adoption of green hydrogen and establish new models of sustainable power generation. This initiative represents an important step toward building future-ready energy infrastructure that supports Cambodia's growth and contributes to the region's long-term energy resilience.”

This MOA further complements other ongoing partnerships between Alpha Ladder Group and Royal Group. This includes a close working relationship between MetaComp Pte. Ltd., Asia’s pioneer in unified Web2.5 digital financial solutions, bridging fiat and stablecoin capabilities across payments, treasury, and wealth management, and Wing Bank (Cambodia) Plc, which together are exploring cross-border digital payment solutions between Singapore and Cambodia, leveraging MetaComp's StableX Network.
