(Phnom Penh): Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet thanked French President Emmanuel Macron for his warm hospitality and very productive discussions to strengthen the bilateral relationship between the two countries.

In a message posted on his social media on Thursday (Apr. 9), Samdech Thipadei wrote, “We are working towards upgrading our diplomatic relationship to a strategic partnership in the near future.”

He added, “I am looking forward to welcoming President Macron's official state visit to Cambodia and his participation in the 20th Francophonie Summit, which Cambodia will host in November 2026.”
