(Phnom Penh): Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet extended his congratulations to Le Minh Hung on his appointment as Prime Minister of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam, according to the letter seen by Fresh News on Wednesday (Apr. 8).

“Your appointment reflects the confidence and trust that the Party, State, and the People of Viet Nam have placed in you, in recognition of your dedication to promoting the country's development and prosperity,” said Samdech Thipadei.

“Undoubtedly, under your able and visionary leadership, and under the guidance of the Communist Party of Viet Nam, Viet Nam will continue to attain significant achievements in socio-economic development and further enhance its role in regional and international affairs,” he added.

“Cambodia and Viet Nam share a long-standing friendship rooted in good neighborliness, comprehensive cooperation, and long-term stability.”

In the letter, Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet deeply valued the strong ties between the two nations and looked forward to meeting with Vietnamese Prime Minister Le Minh Hung to exchange views on further strengthening and expanding the bilateral collaboration, as well as cooperation within ASEAN and other multilateral frameworks, for the mutual benefit of the peoples.
