(Phnom Penh): Cambodia’s Acting Head of State, Samdech Techo Hun Sen, extended congratulations to U Aung Lin Dwe on his election as Speaker of the Amyotha Hluttaw of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, according to the letter seen by Fresh News on Tuesday (Apr. 7).

Samdech Techo stated, “On behalf of the Senate of the Kingdom of Cambodia, I extend my warmest congratulations and best wishes to you on your election as Speaker of the Amyotha Hluttaw of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar. I have no doubt that under your wise leadership, the Amyotha Hluttaw plays a significant role in advancing national development and further promoting the prosperity of the Myanmar people.”

He added, “I highly value the close bilateral relations between our countries, rooted in shared cultural and religious values, mutual respect and understanding, which provide a solid foundation for continued cooperation for the best interests of our two countries and peoples.”

Samdech Techo Hun Sen also expressed his readiness to work closely with U Aung Lin Dwe to promote parliamentary relations and cooperation, which will enhance the bilateral ties in the interest of peace, stability, and prosperity for our two nations, the region, and possibly the world.
