(Phnom Penh): At the invitation of Emmanuel Macron, President of the French Republic, Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet, Cambodian Prime Minister, will lead a high-level delegation to attend the One Health Summit and working visit, to be held from 6-9 April 2026 in Lyon and Paris, France, according to the press release seen by Fresh News on Friday (Apr. 3).
The One Health Summit, marking the 9th edition of the One Planet Summit, is a flagship event under France’s presidency of the G7 in 2026. It serves as a high-level platform bringing together Heads of State and Government, representatives of international organizations, civil society, scientists, and multilateral development banks to deliberate on the interconnected challenges of human health, animal health, and ecosystems.
Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet and First Lady Pich Chanmony Hun Manet will be accompanied by Prak Sokhonn, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, along with other deputy prime ministers, ministers, and senior officials of the Royal Government of Cambodia.
During his stay in France, Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet is scheduled to hold bilateral meetings with French dignitaries and leaders of other countries to exchange views on further strengthening bilateral relations and expanding cooperation across a wide range of sectors.
