(Phnom Penh): On 31 March 2026, Counsellor Matsuda Junsaku attended the launching event of the project “Breaking the Cycle of Malnutrition in Cambodia,” which is implemented with Japan’s support in collaboration with the World Food Programme (WFP) and the Ministry of Planning of Cambodia, according to the Embassy of Japan in Cambodia.

The project aims to improve nutritional status for garment workers through using fortified rice. We expect that this initiative, centred on daily meals, will contribute to better health and sustainable development of the industry.
