(Phnom Penh): Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet issued a sub-decree approving the establishment of the Kampot Logistics Port, covering more than 700 hectares in Kampot Province.

The port will be located in Prek Tnoat Commune, Bokor City, and is designed to support international maritime transport.

According to the sub-decree, the port will allow vessels to enter and exit Cambodia for cargo transfer and logistics operations, handling general goods, including containers and bulk cargo.

The project is expected to strengthen Cambodia’s logistics capacity and support growing maritime trade in the region.
