(Phnom Penh): Cambodia thanked New Zealand for its additional assistance of NZD 7.5 million for mine clearance during Cambodian Foreign Minister Prak Sokhonn’s official visit to New Zealand from 12–13 March 2026, at the invitation of New Zealand Foreign Minister Winston Peters.
Both ministers welcomed the steady growth in bilateral trade in recent years and recognised the significant potential for further expanding economic cooperation. They also encouraged relevant institutions and business communities of both countries to engage in business and investment promotion activities, according to the outcomes of the official visit seen by Fresh News on Saturday (Mar. 14).
During the visit, Cambodia expressed high appreciation to New Zealand’s additional assistance of NZD 7.5 million on mine clearance.
