(Phnom Penh): Cambodian Ministry of Tourism reaffirmed that Cambodia continues to be a safe tourism destination with political stability, good social order, and a warm and welcoming atmosphere for tourists from around the world, according to the press release seen by Fresh News on Thursday (Mar. 12).

Despite the world facing numerous challenges, including rapidly evolving geopolitical and regional security situations, climate change, emerging infectious diseases, and online scams, Cambodia continues to firmly maintain peace, security, safety, and social order. This ensures that travel by air, land, and sea remains safe, reliable, and welcoming for both national and international tourists.

Through the strong commitment of the Royal Government of Cambodia, under the dynamic, wise, and capable leadership of Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet, and the close cooperation among ministries, institutions, international partners, and the private sector, strict measures have been continuously implemented to prevent and suppress all forms of crime, particularly online scam activities, in order to ensure safety and strengthen confidence among tourists.

In light of the above, the ministry calls on all travellers who love Cambodia to continue visiting the country with full confidence, a sense of safety, and a warm welcome.

The ministry also encourages everyone to continue supporting and promoting Cambodia to the world as a land of wonders, rich in cultural heritage, blessed with beautiful natural landscapes, characterised by a harmonious society, and home to friendly and welcoming people.
