(Phnom Penh): Cambodia’s total trade with international markets exceeded USD 11 billion in the first two months of 2026, marking a 17.6 percent increase compared to about USD 9 billion during the same period in 2025, according to a report from the General Department of Customs and Excise of Cambodia.

The report showed that January–February 2026 exports reached over USD 5.228 billion, rising 17.2 percent year-on-year. Meanwhile, imports totalled USD 5.885 billion, an increase of 18 percent from the same period last year.

China remained Cambodia’s largest trading partner, with total trade reaching approximately USD 3.577 billion. Cambodia exported more than USD 295 million worth of goods to China, while imports from China totaled over USD 3.282 billion.

The United States ranked second, with bilateral trade reaching over USD 2.343 billion, a 39.9 percent increase. Cambodia exported USD 2.262 billion to the US, while imports from the US totaled more than USD 80 million.

The report also noted strong growth in Cambodia’s trade with other major partners, including Viet Nam, Japan, Canada, Spain, Indonesia, and the United Kingdom.
