(Phnom Penh): Donald J. Trump, President of the United States of America and Chairman of the Board of Peace, announced a contribution of USD 10 billion from the United States to the Board, while other Member States pledged more than USD 7 billion for Gaza’s reconstruction and humanitarian assistance, according to the press release issued by Cambodian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation dated 22 February 2026.

In the press release, several board member states also committed military personnel to the International Stabilization Force (ISF) in Gaza.

It should be noted that on 19 February 2026, at the Donald J. Trump United States Institute of Peace in Washington, D.C., Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet attended the Inaugural Meeting of the Board of Peace, chaired by US President Donald J. Trump.

During the Meeting, the Board adopted Resolution No. 2026/02 (BOP/RES/2026/2), establishing a framework for operational funding. The Board decided that its activities will be supported by voluntary contributions from Member States, other states, organizations, and additional sources.
