(Phnom Penh): Cambodian Senate President Hun Sen sent a congratulatory letter to Vietnamese President of the National Assembly Tran Thanh Man on the festive occasion of the Vietnamese New Year.

“On the festive occasion of the Vietnamese New Year, I wish to express my warmest greetings and best wishes to Your Excellency, your colleagues at the National Assembly, and the people of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam,” according to the letter seen by Fresh News on Thursday (Feb. 12).

“I strongly believe that the New Year will renew our commitment to further promote the enduring relations between our two countries and legislative bodies under the spirit of traditional friendship, good neighborliness, comprehensive cooperation and long-lasting stability, thereby bringing further tangible benefits for our two peoples.”
