(Phnom Penh): Cambodian Senate President Hun Sen sent a congratulatory letter to Zhao Leji, Chinese Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress (NPC), on the joyous occasion of the Chinese New Year.

“On the joyful occasion of the Chinese New Year, the Year of the Fire Horse, I am delighted to convey my warmest greetings and best wishes to Your Excellency and the people of the People's Republic of China,” according to the letter seen by Fresh News on Thursday (Feb. 12).

“I firmly believe that the New Year will provide a major stimulus to the Cambodia-China ironclad friendship, comprehensive strategic partnership of cooperation, and All-Weather Community with a Shared Future in the New Era, which brings further tangible benefits to our two peoples and nations.”
