(Phnom Penh): Cambodian Senate President Hun Sen sent a congratulatory letter to Chinese President Xi Jinping on the joyous occasion of the Chinese New Year.

“On the joyous occasion of the Chinese New Year, the Year of the Fire Horse, I am very delighted to convey my warmest greetings and best wishes to Your Excellency, the Communist Party of China (CPC) and the people of the People’s Republic of China,” according to the letter seen by Fresh News on Thursday (Feb. 12).

“I am confident that the Year of the Horse will bring new glory to the ironclad friendship between our two countries, governments, parties, and peoples as well as new impetus to our Comprehensive Strategic Partnership of Cooperation while advancing the building of the All-Weather Cambodia-China Community with a Shared Future in the New Era.
