(Phnom Penh): Dith Tina, Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries, and Viviana Loss Sanmartin reaffirmed their commitment to deepening agricultural cooperation and expanding complementary agri-trade between Cambodia and Brazil.
The shared commitment was made during a courtesy call and working meeting at the Ministry of Agriculture on Wednesday (Feb. 11).
Minister Dith Tina welcomed the steady progress in bilateral ties and highlighted opportunities to strengthen agricultural trade by leveraging each country’s comparative advantages. He pointed to Cambodia’s high-potential products, including rice, cassava, and cashew nuts, and encouraged Brazilian private sector investment in processing, packaging, marketing, and exports to global markets.
On the occasion, both sides also expressed strong support for enhancing business-to-business engagement and advancing mutually beneficial agri-trade cooperation.
