(Phnom Penh): The Pacific Asia Travel Association Cambodia Chapter (PATA CC) and Sourceamax Asia Co., Ltd. today announced the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), marking the beginning of a strategic collaboration to support Cambodia’s destination marketing efforts and contribute to digital transformation initiatives within the tourism sector, on Friday (Feb. 6).

The MOU was formally signed on 06 February 2026 at the Sourceamax Asia office, by Thourn Sinan, Chairman of PATA Cambodia Chapter, and Bruno Raffet, President of Sourceamax Asia Co., Ltd.

The agreement establishes a high-level, non-exclusive framework for cooperation, under which both organizations will explore ways to support Cambodia’s tourism promotion, international market outreach, and responsible digital advancement, in alignment with PATA Cambodia Chapter’s ongoing destination marketing initiatives.

A particular emphasis of this collaboration is to help enhance Cambodia’s visibility in long-haul markets, especially Europe, where Sourceamax Asia brings international experience and professional networks, including a strong presence in France. The partnership reflects a shared interest in supporting Cambodia’s tourism recovery and strengthening its long-term competitiveness as a global destination.

Commenting on the signing, Thourn Sinan, Chairman of PATA Cambodia Chapter, said:
“PATA Cambodia Chapter values constructive partnerships with international organizations that share our commitment to promoting Cambodia responsibly. This MOU provides a positive framework to support our destination marketing efforts and to explore how digital innovation can contribute to Cambodia’s tourism development in a sustainable manner.”

The MOU reflects a mutual intention to collaborate transparently and responsibly. Any specific activities or projects arising from this cooperation will be subject to further discussion and, where appropriate, separate agreements between the parties.
