(Phnom Penh): On Saturday morning (Feb. 7), Samdech Techo Hun Sen, Cambodian Acting Head of State, officially welcomed Thongloun Sisoulith, Secretary General of the Lao People’s Revolutionary Party and President of the Lao People’s Democratic Republic.

The welcoming ceremony, held at the Royal Palace, marked the start of President Thongloun Sisoulith’s two-day state visit to Cambodia. The ceremony featured a guard of honor and the playing of the national anthems of Laos and Cambodia, in accordance with state-visit protocol for foreign heads of state.
