(Phnom Penh): Lieutenant General Maly Socheata, the Spokeswoman of the Ministry of National Defence of the Kingdom of Cambodia, reported that at 9 a.m. on Friday (Feb. 6), the Cambodian Liaison Group (CLG) facilitated the ASEAN Observer Team (AOT) to observe, verify, and report on the updated situation in the area of Chor 1, Veal Veng district, Pursat province after the ceasefire came into effect.

It is also worth noting that since the ceasefire took effect, Cambodia is firmly committed to consistently respecting and fully implementing the Ceasefire agreement, the Joint Declaration on the Peace Agreement between Cambodia and Thailand on 26 October 2025, the Joint Statement of the 3rd Special Meeting of the Cambodia–Thailand General Border Committee (GBC) on 27 December 2025, and other relevant documents.
