(Phnom Penh): The Cambodian Ministry of Interior issued an update on Tuesday (Feb. 3) concerning the situation following the ceasefire agreement.
According to the press release, which covers the period from 6:00 a.m. on 2 February to 6:00 a.m. on 3 February 2026, an additional 4,945 displaced persons returned to their homes.
Consequently, as of now, approximately 550,000 people, equivalent to about 84 percent of the total of more than 640,000 displaced persons, have reintegrated into their communities.
As a result, there are 104,099 displaced persons, including 55,049 women and 33,696 children, remaining in displacement camps.
