(Phnom Penh): On January 29, 2026, Cambodia Airways successfully launched its new direct service between Phnom Penh and Nanjing, further strengthening air connectivity between Cambodia and China.

This new route marks the airline’s second direct link between the two countries introduced in January 2026, following closely on the successful launch of the Sihanoukville ⇌ Chengdu route on January 21, underscoring Cambodia Airways’ continued expansion in the China market.

As Chinese New Year approaches, travel demand continues to rise among overseas Chinese communities seeking to return home for family reunions. The new Phnom Penh ⇌ Nanjing service offers passengers a faster and more convenient way to reunite with loved ones, while also making it easier for families to travel to Cambodia for holiday gatherings.

Later that afternoon, flight KR910 departed from Nanjing Lukou International Airport and landed smoothly in Phnom Penh, completing the inaugural round-trip journey and marking another milestone in Cambodia Airways’ network expansion.

With the launch of this new service, Cambodia Airways remains committed to delivering safe, reliable, and high-quality travel experiences, offering flexible flight schedules that bridge distances and bring people closer together.

Beyond the Phnom Penh ⇌ Nanjing route, Cambodia Airways also operates direct services from Phnom Penh to several major Chinese cities, including Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Hong Kong, Macau, Chongqing, Changsha, and Sanya, as well as flights between Sihanoukville and Chengdu—offering travelers an ever-growing network of convenient connections between Cambodia and China.
