(Cebu): On 28 January 2026, Cambodian Foreign Minister Prak Sokhonn held a productive pull-aside Meeting with Dato' Seri Utama Haji Mohamad bin Haji Hasan, Foreign Minister of Malaysia.

Cambodia highly valued Malaysia's pivotal role in facilitating a ceasefire and promoting a peaceful resolution of border disputes between Cambodia and Thailand.

On this occasion, Cambodia also extended its warmest congratulations to Malaysia for its very fruitful outcomes as the 2025 ASEAN Chair, which have significantly contributed to regional stability and growth.
