(Phnom Penh): In 2025, the General Department of Taxation (GDT) collected tax and customs revenues of all types for the national budget totalling more than KHR 14,345 billion, or approximately USD 3.577 billion, representing an increase of over 3 per cent, or about USD 112 million, compared to the same period in 2024.

The 2025 tax revenue collection report was presented at the annual meeting to review the results of tax revenue collection for 2025 and to outline future implementation directions of the General Department of Taxation. The meeting was chaired by Aun Pornmoniroth, Minister of Economy and Finance, and was held at the new General Department of Taxation building (Tax Tower) located in the Chroy Changvar area.

According to the Law on Financial Management for 2026, the Royal Government of Cambodia plans to collect tax revenues amounting to KHR 13,292 billion, equivalent to 6.12 percent of GDP, which represents a decrease of 5.4 percent compared to the 2025 Financial Law.
