(Siem Reap): On the morning of 24 January 2026, Cambodian Tourism Minister Huot Hak joined the Angkor Ultra Trail 2026, a long-distance obstacle trail running event organized to help promote tourism in Siem Reap Province, particularly the Angkor area.

The event aims to further enhance international exposure, attract a greater number of tourists to Cambodia, and support various humanitarian activities.

On this joyful occasion, Minister Huot Hak stated that the event clearly demonstrates a strong spirit of sportsmanship, appreciation for culture, and the value of peace. He noted that Cambodia continues to enjoy peace and political stability under the leadership of Prime Minister Hun Manet, creating a safe and welcoming environment for investors and domestic and international visitors.

The minister added that the 9th Angkor Ultra-Trail in 2026 features eight race categories, including 100 kilometers, 64 kilometers, 42 kilometers, 32 kilometers, three categories of 18 kilometers, and 8 kilometers.

The event is organized by Phoenix Voyages in cooperation with the Ministry of Tourism, the National Olympic Committee of Cambodia, the APSARA National Authority, the Siem Reap Provincial Administration, and numerous sponsoring partners.
