(Phnom Penh): Cambodia's tire exports saw a significant jump in 2025, reaching USD 1.38 billion, a 57.86 per cent increase from USD 874 million in 2024, according to the Ministry of Commerce.
Trade experts attributed the significant growth to strong investment attraction efforts by the Royal Government of Cambodia’s leadership, which have encouraged tire manufacturing factories to invest and operate in the country, enabling Cambodia to expand its tire exports.
Currently, Cambodia has seven tire manufacturing factories in operation, located in Svay Rieng, Preah Sihanouk, and Kratie provinces.
Cambodia's total rubber plantation area spans 448,051 hectares, according to the General Directorate of Rubber. As of December 2025, total revenue from exports of rubber and rubberwood amounted to more than USD 832 million.
Noting that throughout 2025, the management of harvesting, processing, and business operations at rubber plantation companies and smallholder rubber farms proceeded normally and was not adversely affected by border dispute issues.
