Interior Ministry: Around 490,000 Displaced People Have Returned Home, Over 155,000 Remain Displaced as of January 13

(Phnom Penh): Cambodian Ministry of Interior released an update on Tuesday (Jan. 13) regarding the situation following the ceasefire agreement.

According to the press release, covering the period from 6:00 a.m. on January 12 to 6:00 a.m. on January 13, an additional 4,086 displaced persons have returned to their homes. This brings the total number of returnees to approximately 490,000 out of the more than 640,000 people who were originally displaced.
