(Phnom Penh): Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet expressed his sincere gratitude to friendly nations and development partners for their material and financial assistance in helping Cambodia respond to the humanitarian and infrastructure impact of the Cambodia–Thailand border conflict.
In a special national address delivered on the night of 10 January 2026, Samdech Thipadei thanked the Governments of China and the United States, as well Aas the Asian Development Bank, for their support to the Royal Government of Cambodia.
He noted that the assistance has played a crucial role in alleviating hardships faced by displaced families, particularly in restoring livelihoods upon their return home and in repairing and rehabilitating essential infrastructure, especially schools and health centres.
While expressing appreciation, the Prime Minister also appealed to friendly countries and development partners to continue supporting Cambodia’s recovery efforts, with a focus on restoring essential infrastructure and improving the livelihoods of citizens affected by the border conflict.
