(Phnom Penh): The Cambodia Investment Board (CIB) of the Council for the Development of Cambodia (CDC) held its first “One-Window” meeting of 2026, chaired by CIB Secretary General Chea Vuthy, with participation from relevant ministries, institutions, and the Kampong Speu provincial administration.

The meeting reviewed a proposal submitted by Cambodia Shanghai Special Economic Zone Co., Ltd. to establish a new Special Economic Zone (SEZ) in Phnom Sruoch District, Kampong Speu Province.

Covering approximately 455 hectares, the proposed SEZ is expected to support industrial development, attract investment, and promote regional economic growth.
