(Phnom Penh): The Ministry of Post and Telecommunications (MPTC) announced an official launch of the first generation of the TranslateKH translation program on its website and Telegram platform for public use.

"To provide an alternative and more convenient way for users to access fast translation services from Khmer to English and English to Khmer, the ministry has developed the second generation of the TranslateKH translation application. The TranslateKH 2nd generation mobile app has been launched on both the Play Store and the App Store, allowing users to download it free of charge. In addition, MPTC has also created a new website, www.translate.kh, enabling the public to easily access the service on computers and conveniently remember the website address," according to an announcement seen by Fresh News on Friday (Jan. 2).

"The second generation of the TranslateKH translation software is capable of understanding and translating content based on context rather than sentence structure. It utilizes artificial intelligence technology combined with deep learning techniques and large language models to enhance translation accuracy."
