(Phnom Penh): In 2025, the Angkor Enterprise generated approximately more than USD 44 million in revenue from ticket sales to over 950,000 foreign tourists visiting the Angkor archaeological park, marking a 6.51 per cent decrease compared to the same period in 2024, according to the report seen by Fresh News dated 1 January 2026.
Meanwhile, ticket sales for foreign tourists visiting the Koh Ker temple complex during the same period recorded over 200,000 visitors, generating more than USD 300,000 in revenue. Foreign visitors to Beng Mealea Temple totaled 16,000, contributing approximately over USD 160,000.
According to the report, American tourists ranked first among foreign visitors, followed by tourists from the United Kingdom, France, China, Japan, and Germany.
The revenue from ticket sales also contributed more than USD 1.9 million to the Kantha Bopha Cambodia Foundation during the same year.
