(Phnom Penh): Cambodian King Norodom Sihamoni and Queen Mother Norodom Monineath Sihanouk graciously granted a royal audience to the 18 Cambodian soldiers who safely returned home after being held in Thai custody for 155 days.

The audience took place on Thursday (Jan. 1) at the Royal Palace in Phnom Penh.

Leading the soldiers in paying the royal audience were Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Civil Service Hun Many, and Lieutenant General Hun Manit, Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Royal Cambodian Armed Forces and Commander of the Army.
