(Banteay Meanchey): Despite repeated calls from leaders of China, the United States, and many other countries to end the war, the Thai military has continued to carry out aggressive acts of intrusion against Cambodia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, showing disregard for international law.

On Thursday morning (Dec. 25), at the battlefield in Banteay Meanchey province, Thai forces continued their aggressive actions by firing multiple artillery shells into Cambodian territory.

Fresh News journalists have continued reporting directly from areas near the frontline. While conducting on-site coverage in Svay Chek Commune, Svay Chek District on Thursday (Dec. 25), they clearly heard heavy artillery launched from Thai territory toward residential areas.

Reporters also documented destroyed homes, shattered structures, and deep shell craters across villages and roads. Traces of cluster munitions were also observed within the community.

Once busy with daily life, Svay Chek Commune now stands deserted. Residents have fled in fear of continued bombardment.
