(Phnom Penh): Cambodian Ministry of Defence reported continued armed aggression by Thai military forces along the Cambodia-Thailand border, targeting civilian residential area in the 5th Military Region at the area of Ta Lei, Kouk Romiet commune, Thmar Pouk district, Banteay Meanchey province, on 25 December 2025

- At 8:41 a.m., Thai military fired 155mm artillery shells into civilian residential area, resulting in the death of one innocent Cambodian civilian in the area of Ta Lei, Kouk Romiet commune, Thmar Pouk district, Banteay Meanchey.

The brutal actions above are indiscriminate attacks by the Thai military has become more and more vicious, a grave violation of international humanitarian law.

Cambodian forces have fought fiercely against the invading enemy and continue to monitor closely and remain vigilant in fulfilling their role of firmly protecting Cambodia's territorial integrity.
